About the event
Join Maritime Gloucester and the National Women’s Sailing Association for a course on the basics of marine diesel engines on March 12 from 1-4pm at Maritime Gloucester.
Whether you are looking for a refresher before the boating season or an initiation to your engine, join instructor Susannah Winder for a hands on introduction to marine diesel engines. The course will cover the systems that work together to make an engine run such as the fuel system and cooling system. We will have a marine diesel on site so that students can explore the physical engine. Bring your questions and concerns and we will work through them together.
This course is open to women only. Members of Maritime Gloucester or NWSA get a 10% discount.
