About the event
Annie Lutcavage is the Director of the Large Pelagics Research Center, which is working closely with fishermen and using state of the art technologies, conducting biological and ecological research on large pelagic species including tuna, sharks, billfish and sea turtles. Her work endeavors to develop scientific understanding that supports effective ecosystem-based management for these highly migratory Atlantic marine species. She brings years of experience and research to the table and her talk will give an in-depth look at the fascinating life of Atlantic bluefin tuna.
