About the event
Studying whales is difficult. To protect them and secure their survival, we need to better understand the threats they face and how these threats are affecting the animals. At Ocean Alliance we are using drones to help spur a data collection revolution in marine mammal science, from collecting whale snot to study their microbiomes, to deploying data tags to watch their lives underwater. Understanding whales, and their importance to the health of our planet, has never been more accessible.
