PROGRAM

Coastal Explorers Summer Programs!

​

Climb aboard and set a course for fun and exploration! Each 3-day program students will learn by sailing the traditional Gloucester Fishing Schooner Ardelle while participating in exciting hands-on marine science and maritime heritage explorations. Every day will start at Maritime Gloucester and we will explore along the coast of the North Shore. Each week will have an exciting new focus as participants sail and explore. 

 

SAILING AND NATURE - July 7th-9th, 8:30 am-3:30 pm - Ages 8-11

This program will have a greater focus on sailing, marine animals and ecology.

SAILING AND SCIENCE- July 20th - July 23rd, 8:30 am-3:30 pm - Ages 8-11

This program will have a greater focus on both sailing and physical sciences.

 

COASTAL VOYAGERS SAILING AND SEAMANSHIP- Aug 4th-6th, 8:30 am-3:30 pm - Ages 10 and up

This program is for slightly older participants and will have a greater emphasis on ship handling and seaman ship.
